This is a wide, chunky ring with a dark oxidized silver look and a porous, cratered texture that feels almost like cooled lava. A thin warm-toned strip runs through the band like a seam, and it gives the whole thing a tough, mixed-metal vibe. The stone is an oval faceted amethyst in a soft lilac purple, with a little deeper purple pooling toward the edges. It sits in a smooth bezel, and that bezel has a gold-toned swoop that wraps around one side like a hook holding the stone in place.
The amethyst here is pale purple and glassy, with clean facets that catch light fast. People use amethyst when they want to calm down, sleep better, or stop spiraling in their head. This ring already feels like armor, so the “steady mind” idea actually matches the heavy band and that tight bezel grip.
BORA comes out of Brooklyn, started by three brothers who leaned into Mediterranean moods and old-world details. They build in oxidized 925 sterling silver and punch it up with bronze or gold accents so it never looks flat.
