Long oxidized silver drop earrings with an open teardrop frame, skinny and a little rough-textured, not shiny. At the top there’s an oval pale blue-green stone in a warm gold-toned bezel, then a small chain link, then a second matching oval stone hanging inside the frame. Across the top of the frame there’s a hammered bronze or gold-toned bar, like a little bridge. They move a lot when you walk, but they still feel light because the frame is open. Best guess on the stone is aquamarine, but it could also be blue chalcedony or amazonite.
The stones are that washed sea-glass color, soft blue with a hint of green, and the faceting gives a quiet shimmer instead of hard sparkle. Aquamarine usually gets linked to calm and speaking clearly, like not getting tongue-tied when you’re stressed. Blue chalcedony gets the same “gentle voice” reputation, more soft and steady. The way the second stone hangs inside the frame feels like a little pendulum, which honestly makes the calm thing make sense.
BORA started with three brothers in Brooklyn, New York, and you can tell they like mixed metals and slightly imperfect texture. They use oxidized 925 sterling silver with bronze or gold accents, pulling from Mediterranean tradition without making it look formal.
