Polished silver band with a clean, simple shape, then it gets tougher at the top with a tight wrap of gold-toned wire around the shoulders. The stone is an oval faceted light blue gem set east-west, so it sits sideways across the finger instead of up and down. It’s held with gold-toned claw prongs that curl up at the ends, and the open sides let light in so the stone keeps flashing.

The blue in this one is icy and clear, not milky, with sharp facets that bounce light around when you move your hand. People usually link blue topaz with clarity, calmer thoughts, and saying what you mean without getting tangled up. Aquamarine gets the “calm water” reputation too, more soothing than sharp. The wire wrap around the top kind of matches the whole clarity idea, like it’s literally bundling things together.

BORA started with three brothers in Brooklyn, New York, and you can feel that small-studio energy in the hand-done wire and prongs. They lean Mediterranean in spirit, using oxidized 925 sterling silver with warm bronze or gold accents instead of a bright mirror finish.
