This ring has a big round clear stone up front, set high so it catches light from the sides. The band is oxidized silver with a dark, textured finish, and it sweeps up in a curved, almost wraparound shape instead of a straight shank. The stone is held by six small gold-toned claw prongs, which gives it that tough, slightly medieval grip.

The stone is colorless and faceted, so it throws little flashes rather than a soft glow. Clear quartz usually gets talked about as a clarity and focus stone, the kind people keep around when their brain is messy. White topaz gets a similar reputation, more about clear thinking and calm confidence. The gold claws make it feel like the ring is saying “hold onto your center” without being weird about it.

BORA came out of a small Brooklyn, New York studio run by three brothers, and you can still see that handmade decision-making in the odd angles and texture. They lean on oxidized 925 sterling silver and warm bronze or gold accents, so the pieces look lived-in instead of glossy.
