This ring has a wide, wedge-like band with a gritty, cratered texture and a dark oxidized finish. The long stone sits in a warm bronze-toned rim, and there’s a smaller round bezel set off to the side like a little satellite. The main stone is a stretched marquise cabochon in deep navy blue with inky streaks that catch the light. The small opal is milky with pink and green flashes, held snug in its smooth round rim.

That kyanite looks like a slice of midnight water, and the opal has that soft glow with quick hits of color. People say kyanite is for mental clarity and saying what you mean without spiraling. Opal gets picked for creativity and mood balance, like a reset button. I like how the long blue stone feels steady, and the tiny opal adds the little spark.

BORA started with three brothers in Brooklyn, pulling a lot of their ideas from Mediterranean shapes and old-world metalwork. They build everything by hand in oxidized 925 sterling silver, then punch it up with bronze or gold accents.
