SIZE 9

This is a chunky, sculptural ring in an oxidized dark silver tone, with a matte, slightly grainy texture that looks almost sandblasted. The band rises up and folds into a tight little curl on one side, and you can see a warm bronze edge running along that curve. The stone is a big pear-shaped labradorite cabochon, smoky gray until it catches light and then it kicks out a deep blue flash. It sits in a thick bezel with a clean rim, no prongs, so the whole top feels smooth and solid.

The labradorite here has that stormy gray base with a blue glow hiding underneath. People usually reach for labradorite when they want a little more focus and steadiness, especially when their brain is loud. It also gets picked for protection, not in a spooky way, more like a “keep your energy to yourself” stone. The heavy bezel and that curled band match the vibe, like it’s holding the light in place.

BORA started with three brothers in Brooklyn, and you can feel that small-studio hands-on approach in the metalwork. The shapes lean Mediterranean, done in oxidized 925 sterling silver with warm bronze accents that keep it from looking too polished.
