Big oval smoky stone up front, faceted, dark brown like iced coffee when the light hits it. The band is oxidized silver and feels sturdy, with those cutout “windows” on the sides so it doesn’t look like a plain chunk. The stone isn’t in a full bezel, it’s held by two gold-toned brackets at the top and bottom, textured like tiny hammer marks. It looks a little guarded, in a good way, like the setting is doing its job.

This smoky quartz has that warm, see-through brown that shifts from almost black to amber depending on the angle. People usually grab smoky quartz for grounding and stress, like a “keep me calm in public” kind of stone. It also gets linked to clearing mental noise, not in a magic way, more like a reminder to stay steady. The gold brackets holding it down matches that vibe, simple and firm.

BORA started with three brothers in Brooklyn, New York, and the metalwork still feels hand-shaped instead of perfectly even. They lean on oxidized 925 sterling silver with bronze or gold accents, so the pieces look worn-in and real, not shiny.
