This is a big oval turquoise cabochon set high, with a dark oxidized silver base that looks rough and worn-in. Around the stone there’s a warm gold-toned leaf cage, like little cutout vines hugging the sides instead of a plain bezel. The turquoise is bright blue with heavy brown matrix, almost like cracked earth on top of water. The band is wide and textured, and the side profile has those open spaces so it doesn’t feel like a solid brick. 

The stone has that classic turquoise contrast, clean blue next to rusty brown webbing, nothing flat about it. People usually link turquoise with protection and staying steady, especially when you’re stressed or around a lot of noise. It also gets tied to clear communication, saying the thing without spiraling. The leaf cage holding it in place kind of fits the protection idea, like a little fence around your calm.

BORA started with three brothers in Brooklyn, New York, and they lean into texture and weight more than shiny polish. The designs pull Mediterranean and old traditions, using oxidized 925 sterling silver with bronze or gold accents.
