A fringe of polished stones brings together bright blue, soft green, burnt orange and plum purple, like a painter’s favourite colours laid side by side. Ovals, teardrops and rectangles hang from a strand of darkened silver-coloured beads, each framed with rope-like edging. Brown patches and fine veins give the blue and green pieces their earthy character, while a larger teardrop marks the centre. A hook fastening and extension chain allow the length to be adjusted.
