Navajo pearls form a shining strand, opening into two rows across the front of this necklace. Round turquoise stones alternate with red spiny oyster shell, adding bright blue and cherry-red touches above little trumpet-shaped metal drops. Twisted edging frames each polished piece, while a double crescent hangs at the centre with a red shell cabochon above it. The curved centrepiece and repeating drops give the necklace a graceful, scalloped outline.
